DONE

Use the DONE command to terminate an op you are hosting. If you know your Q-codes, QRT (meaning “stop sending”) does the same thing.

Done with somebody else’s op

DONE has a second use, for chasers rather than hosts. Add a callsign and you are telling OTA you are done with that op’s blasts, not that you are ending anything:

Nothing else changes. Your contact still counts, the op page still shows you everything anyone sent, and you can still send a blast yourself. You just stop receiving them over the air for the rest of that op.

Two things to know. Send the callsign on its own: a DONE with words after it is a sign-off, so DONE @K7ABC-6 thanks all is not this command. And while you have an op of your own on the air, every DONE you send ends your op, no matter what follows it. That is deliberate, because getting your own op to end matters more than anything else this command does.
